WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE
When I locate a confident match, you will receive a digital copy or link to the record, source information, and a brief explanation of what the record reveals about your ancestor.
If the exact record remains elusive, your research will still be useful. You will receive a summary of the collections, spellings, and information I searched, along with recommendations for the best next steps.
A gentle note about historical research: I am often successful in locating the requested record, but some records may be missing, restricted, unindexed, or preserved only in an archive. For that reason, a particular document cannot be guaranteed—but I will use your research time carefully and thoroughly.
Any fees charged by archives or government agencies for official record copies are not included. I will always discuss those costs with you before an order is placed.
